Trust me, Grace doesn't need any help finding men. She's had more marriage proposals than many that I know. Two years ago when Mary and I took Grace out for lunch for her birthday, she got hit on, twice!!

While we never had a birthday party, my parents would get us a card (with the word "birth" scratched out), some little gift, maybe a cake that said "Have a nice Day" and my dad would always talk about the day we were born and brought home from the hospital. On Christmas and Thanksgiving, we usually had a turkey dinner with my grandparents or some other relative, but no presents at Christmas. I'm thankful to my parents that they weren't the strict JW's that so many here seem to have had.

UPDATE ON MY BROTHER IN LAW
by Mary ini had done a post back in january about my brother in law who was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome: http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/medical/170540/1/does-anyone-know-anything-about-myelodysplastic-syndrome.
on this thursday past, they got the worst news imaginable: it's turning into leukemia.
this is not regular leukemia, but what is called acute myelogenous leukemia which is far, far worse than regular leukemia.

I've met quite a few from this board, had an apostafest almost two years ago now (the one Snakes came to). Trust me, there was no reading of WT lit at my apostafest! There were about 40 of us that took over a local pub and we had an awesome time. Everyone that was there are truly amazing people that I consider very good friends. If anyone is afraid of having pictures posted, all they have to do is say, and they won't be. There were a few at that apostafest that had concerns over photos posted and they weren't.
I've truly been blessed with the friends I've made from JWD/JWN.
oompa - how do we know you are real

Calling all insane people who love to hang out with other insane people
by dinah inwe get to lie, play different roles, do a little detective work, there's lots of fluff (some can be naughty).

cameo, when I first played I didn't have a clue, just hung out in the hot tub and drank.
The only way to learn is to jump in and play.
Nobody has to pick you for a team, the roles are assigned randomly by the mod.
Come on and play with us, great way to make new friends and have some fun.
